Stardoll Virtual Paper Doll Site is Popular, Fun, and Free
Stardoll is a virtual paperdoll website where kids & teens (perhaps ages 9 & up) can design dolls to look like themselves, or anyone else, and dress them up in various outfits. There are celebrity look-alike dolls to dress up as well (such as Carrie Underwood, Prince William, Pink, and Johnny Depp. Kids can have their own ‘albums’ to save favorite dolls and a suite to keep ‘their’ things in. They can earn points to get new virtual clothing and goodies, join online clubs, and send messages to online friends (pretty safely with a little parent input) with players all over the world.
The regular membership to Stardoll is free. The Superstar membership runs $10 (U.S.) a month or $25 for 3 months. Membership cards are available for purchase at Target stores and other major retailers.
